Once an organiser has uploaded an event, we will approve it within 24 hours or less and it

will appear on the platform.

You may promote your event using the Just For Friends platform. Only legitimate event

offerings should be listed. Consumers must not be deceived (or attempted to be deceived)

by displaying incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading information. Similarly, the event must

comply with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations, as well as these conditions. You

warrant that you are properly authorized to advertise the relevant event by placing a listing

on the platform. You are not infringing on any intellectual property or other rights, and you

are conducting yourself legitimately and in line with all applicable laws. You shall

compensate us for any losses we incur as a result of any of these guarantees being

erroneous.

If an event is not suited for underage attendees, you must include an appropriate age

description in your ad.

We have the right to deny or delete an item at our discretion, including but not limited to; if

seems to be for an illicit purpose, An organiser has not given enough information It is

against our Community Guidelines.

2. Our Role

By selling tickets for an event, you are contracting with the consumer and not with Just

For Friends. We function as your limited payment agent, collecting payments from

customers for your event, and forwarding them to you (or the appropriate recipient).

You authorise us to collect, hold, disburse and retain proceeds on your behalf; where we

determine a consumer is entitled to a refund, to issue the refund.

3. What we Charge

Creating an account, listing an event, and accessing the platform are free. Our fees may

vary depending on a variety of criteria, including but not limited to product type, price,

country, payment method, and currency. Our fees are listed on the applicable product

area on the Just For Friends website. Even if a customer obtains a refund, our Booking

Fee is always non-refundable.

Our fees typically comprise a percentage-based fee ("Commission") of 4.5% and a fixed

fee per item ("Booking Fee") of 3.5%. Our fees may change from time to time and may

vary based on several factors including but not limited to product type, price, country,

payment method, and currency. Our Booking Fee is always non-refundable (even if a

consumer receives a refund).

4. Refunds 

Our refund policy must be fair and reasonable, comply with all applicable laws when it

comes to refunds and cancellations including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (“CPA”).

We respect all consumer rights in the CPA, particularly as they relate to refunds, and the

“cooling-off” period.

You grant us the right to (i) decide, in our reasonable discretion, if a consumer should be

refunded, and (ii) where we believe a consumer should be refunded, to refund the

consumer on your behalf, where we hold proceeds. You have no right to demand that

we pay you any amount which we have refunded to a customer (unless we have

acted with gross negligence or willful misconduct). You must refund all consumers

where an event is cancelled. 

If an event is cancelled, or where we believe there is a risk of cancellation or non-

performance, and we have facilitated the transaction payment with our processing

partners, we will initiate a refund to the relevant consumers of the transaction value (less

our fee).

If for any reason, we have already paid the ticket proceeds to you (or the relevant

beneficiary), you are responsible for processing consumer refunds. 

You shall compensate us for any losses we experience or incur as a result of a charge-

back or refund claim made against Just For Friends in connection with your event. We

have the right to deduct the amount from any future payments owed to you.

You shall compensate us for any damages (including reputational losses) incurred as a

result of your failing to meet any legal responsibilities to a consumer.

5. Disclaimer, and Assumption of Risks by You

You are solely responsible for delivering the event. A payment processed by us on

your behalf is considered the same as a payment made by a consumer directly to

you. You have the same responsibility to deliver the goods/services that you have

listed on the platform as if you had received payment from the consumer directly

(regardless of whether the funds have yet to be or are ever received from Just For

Friends). 

We will always ask customers to interact directly with organisers. If you fail to effectively

address a consumer complaint and the consumer continues to seek redress from us, we

will seek legal advice and take whatever action we consider is reasonable to settle the

matter. We take consumer protection seriously, and you should do the same.

You shall reimburse us for any losses we incur as a result of your failure to meet your

commitments to a customer or otherwise deal with a consumer complaint effectively.

You are completely responsible for the health and safety of all workers, service providers,

ticket holders, suppliers, performers, vendors, and other attendees at physical events.

You must not plan or conduct an event unless you have the necessary insurance,

including public liability insurance. If any individual is injured, damages, or loses property

during your event, we may ask you to release a public statement clarifying that Just For

Friends is not associated with your event.

6. Limitation Of Liability.

The Service may contain advertisements and promotions offered by third parties and links

to other web sites or resources. Just For Friends is not responsible for the availability (or

lack of availability) of such external websites or resources. If you choose to interact with

the third parties made available through our Service, such party's terms will govern their

relationship with you. Just For Friends is not responsible or liable for such third parties'

terms or actions.

Just For Friends will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses

of any kind whatsoever arising from, or in connection with your use of the platform

or our services. “Force Majeure” means, in relation to Just For Friends, any

circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Just For Friends including (without

limitation) any acts of war or public enemy, civil commotion or strife, political or civil

disturbance, riot, insurrection, strikes, lock-out, interruption of transport, labour dispute,

boycott, fire, explosion, flood, storm, infectious or contagious disease, epidemic,

pandemic or natural or physical disaster, sabotage, terrorism, acts or omissions of any

government, government agency, provincial or local or similar authority, laws or

regulations or any acts of God or forces of nature. Just For Friends shall not be liable a

result of any delays or failures of performance of its obligations if and to the extent that

such delay or failure is caused by a Force Majeure event.

7. Governing Law.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the

Republic of South Africa.

8. Indemnity by You.

You agree, to the extent permitted under applicable law, to indemnify, defend and hold

harmless Just For Friends, our affiliates, and our respective officers, directors, agents,

and employees from and against any and all complaints, demands, claims, damages,

losses, costs, liabilities and expenses, including attorney’s fees due to, arising out of, or

relating in any way to your access to or use of the Service, your Content, or your breach

of this Agreement.

9. Entire Agreement; Other

If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall

continue in full force and effect. The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any

right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

You agree that your Just For Friends account is non-transferable and all of your rights to

your account and its Content terminate upon your death. No agency, partnership, joint

venture, fiduciary or other special relationship or employment is created as a result of this

Agreement and you may not make any representations on behalf of or bind Just For

Friends in any manner.

Welcome to Just For Friends

1. Acceptance of Terms of Use Agreement.

By creating a Just For Friends account, whether on a mobile device, a mobile application,

or a computer (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use,

our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Arbitration Procedures (if applicable to you), Safety

Tips, and Community Guidelines, all of which are incorporated by reference into this

Agreement.

2. Eligibility.

You are not permitted to establish an account, access or use the Service or the systems

on which it is hosted unless all of the following conditions are met:

• You must be at least 18 years old.

• you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract with Just For Friends,

• you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of The Republic of South

Africa or any other applicable jurisdiction

• you will comply with this Agreement and all applicable local, state, national, and

international laws, rules, and regulations, and

• you have never been convicted of an unlawful act or indictable offense (or a crime of

comparable seriousness), a sex crime, or a violent crime.

3. Your Account.

In order to use Just For Friends, you may sign in using a number of ways. You are

responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your Just For Friends login credentials, and you

are entirely liable for all activities that occur under those credentials. If you believe

someone has accessed your account, please inform us on

4.Safety; Your Interactions with Other Members.

Just For Friends attempts to foster a respectful member experience as the double opt-in,

which allows members to contact only after they have both shown interest in one another,

but Just For Friends is not liable for any member's behaviour on or off the Service. You

agree to use caution in any contacts with other members, especially if you communicate

outside of the Service or meet in person. You agree not to submit financial information

(such as credit card or bank account information) or wire or otherwise transmit money to

other members.

YOU ARE SOLELY IN CHARGE OF YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT JUST FOR FRIENDS DOES NOT PERFORM CRIMINAL

BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS MEMBERS OR INQUIRE INTO THEIR

BACKGROUND. JUST FOR FRIENDS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR

WARRANTIES REGARDING MEMBERS' CONDUCT OR COMPATIBILITY.

5. Rights Just For Friends Grants You.

Just For Friends offers you a non-exclusive, revocable, and non-sublicensable personal,

worldwide, royalty-free license to access and use the Service. This license is only for the

purpose of allowing you to use and enjoy the advantages of the Service as Just For

Friends intended and as authorized by this Agreement. If you do any of the following, this

license and any authorisation to access the Service will be automatically revoked:

• utilize the Service or any of its content for commercial purposes without our explicit

permission.

• express or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by Just For Friends. • use

any robot, bot, spider, crawler, scraper, site search/retrieval application, proxy, or other

manual or automatic device, method, or process to access, retrieve, index, "data mine," or

in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the

Service or its contents.

• upload viruses or other harmful programming, or otherwise jeopardize the Service's

security.

• falsify headers or otherwise modify identifiers to conceal the source of any information

delivered to or via the Service.

• without Just For Friends’ prior written permission, "frame" or "mirror" any portion of the

Service.

• utilize meta tags, code, or other devices containing any reference to Just For Friends or

the Service (or any Just For Friends trademark, trade name, service mark, logo, or

slogan) to lead someone to any other website for any reason.

• alter, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decrypt, decompile, or

otherwise disassemble any component of the Service, or authorize others to do so.

• without our explicit permission, use or build any third-party apps that interface with the

Service or other members' Content or information.

• without our explicit permission, use, access, or publish the Just For Friends application

programming interface; or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our Service or any

system or network.

• support or promote any action that is contrary to the terms of this Agreement.

Just For Friends may conduct an investigation and take any legal action available in

response to unlawful or unauthorized uses of the Service, including the cancellation of

your account.

Any program that we offer you with may download and install upgrades, updates, or other

new features automatically. You may be able to change the settings on your device to

control these automatic downloads.

6. Rights You Grant Just For Friends.

By creating an account, you grant Just For Friends a worldwide, transferable, sub-

licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, copy, display, reproduce,

adapt, edit, publish, modify, and distribute information you authorize us to access from

third parties, as well as any information you post, upload, display, or otherwise make

available (collectively, "post") on the Service or transmit to other members ​(collectively,

"Content"). Just For Friends license to your Content shall be non-exclusive, except that

Just For Friends license shall be exclusive with regard to derivative works developed via

use of the Service. Just For Friends, for example, would have an exclusive license to

screenshots of the Service that include your Content.

Furthermore, in order for Just For Friends to prohibit the use of your Content outside of

the Service, you allow Just For Friends to intervene on your behalf in the case of

infringing uses of your Content obtained from the Service by other members or third

parties.

Our license to your Content is subject to your rights under applicable law (for example,

laws governing personal data protection if any Content contains personal information as

defined by those laws) and is limited to operating, developing, providing, and improving

the Service, as well as researching and developing new ones. You accept that any

Content you post or permit us to post on the Service may be accessed by other users and

by anyone visiting or engaging in the Service (including persons who receive shared

Content from other Just For Friends members).

You agree that the information you supply when creating your account, including

information from your Gmail account, is true and honest, and that you have the right to

publish the Content on the Service and grant Just For Friends the license described

above.

You realize and agree that any Content you publish as part of a Service may be monitored

or reviewed by us. We reserve the right to delete any Content, in whole or in part, that we

believe violates this Agreement or may harm the Service's reputation.

You promise to be kind and considerate while talking with our customer service

professionals. We have the right to immediately delete your account if we believe your

behavior against any of our customer service agents or other employees is threatening,

harassing, or insulting.

You agree that we, our affiliates, and our third-party partners may post advertising on the

Service in exchange for Just For Friends enabling you to use the Service. By providing

Just For Friends with recommendations or comments about our Service, you accept that

Just For Friends may use and disseminate such input for any reason without paying you.

Please be aware that Just For Friends  may access, store, and disclose your account

information and Content if required to do so by law, in the course of performing its

agreement with you, or in the good faith belief that such access, storage, or disclosure

serves a legitimate interest, including to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce the

Agreement; (iii) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third parties; (iv)

respond to your requests for customer service; or (v) protect the rights, property or

personal safety of the Company or any other person.

7. Other Members' Content.

Although Just For Friends maintains the right to review and remove Content that violates

this Agreement, the member who uploads such Content is solely responsible for it, and

Just For Friends cannot guarantee that all Content will comply with this Agreement. If you

come across any Content on the Service that violates this Agreement, please report it

through the Service or by emailing JustForFriendsApplication@gmail.com

8. Community Rules.

By using the Service, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose under this Agreement.

• Use the Service for any malicious or unlawful purpose

• Use the Service to harm Just For Friends

• Breach our Community Guidelines, which are updated on a regular basis.

• Send spam, solicit money from, or deceive any members.

• Impersonate another person or entity, or upload photographs of another person without

permission.

• Bully, "stalk", intimidate, attack, harass, abuse, or slander anybody.

• Upload any Content that violates or infringes on the rights of others, including publicity,

privacy, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or contractual rights.

• Post any hate speech, threatening, sexually explicit, or pornographic content.

• Post any content that incites violence, involves nudity, or is graphic or gratuitous in

nature.

• Post any content that encourages racism, bigotry, hate, or physical violence to any

group or individual.

• Seek passwords or personal identifying information from other members for commercial

or illicit reasons or broadcast another person's personal information without his or her

consent.

• Utilise another person's account, share an account with another user, or have several

accounts.

• Unless you have our permission, establish another account if we have previously

cancelled your account. Promote unlawful activities, including weapons or illegal drug use

or ponzi schemes.

• Infringe intellectual property and other rights, including using someone else’s intellectual

property without their permission.

If you violate this Agreement, misuse the Service, or behave in a way that Just For

Friends considers inappropriate or unlawful, including actions or communications that

occur on or off the Service, Just For Friends reserves the right to investigate and/or

terminate your account without a refund of any purchases. If you break these rules or our

Community Guidelines, your permission to use the Service will be withdrawn

automatically.

9. Disclaimers.

JUST FOR FRIENDS PROVIDES THE SERVICE ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"

BASIS AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRANTS NO

WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR

OTHERWISE WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICE (INCLUDING ALL CONTENT

CONTAINED THEREIN), INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED

WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A

PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

JUST FOR FRIENDS DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT (A) THE SERVICE

WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR FREE, (B) ANY DEFECTS OR

ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED, OR (C) THAT ANY CONTENT OR

INFORMATION YOU OBTAIN ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE.

JUST FOR FRIENDS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONTENT THAT YOU

OR ANOTHER MEMBER OR THIRD PARTY POSTS, SENDS OR RECEIVES

THROUGH THE SERVICE. ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE

OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICE IS ACCESSED AT YOUR OWN

DISCRETION AND RISK.

10. Third Party Services.

Privacy Policy

Welcome to Just For Friends, Thank you for taking your time to read our privacy policy.

We appreciate the trust you placed in us with your information, and we aim to retain it.

This begins with ensuring that you understand the information we gather, why we collect

it, how it is used, and your privacy options.

1. Information we collect.

We can't help you make significant connections lacking some information about you, such

as basic personal information and the sorts of individuals you'd want to meet. We also

collect information regarding your use of our services, such as access logs, as well as

information from third parties, such as when you use your social media account to access

our services or when you upload information from your social network account to

complete your profile. If you want more information, we go into greater depth below.

2.Information you give us

When you establish an account, you provide us your phone number and email address,

as well as other basic information required for the service to function, such as your

gender, date of birth, and who you desire to communicate with.

You may also provide us other information, such as your bio and interests, as well as

multimedia such as images and videos. To add certain content, like pictures or videos,

you may allow us to access your camera or photo album.

3.Information we receive from others

Members: Members may provide information about you as they use our services, for

instance as they interact with you or if they submit a report involving you.

Social Media: You may decide to share information with us through your social media

account, for instance if you decide to create and log into your account via your other

account e.g., Google or Apple.

The main reason we use your information is to deliver and improve our services.

Additionally, we use your info to help keep you and our community safe and to understand

how members typically use the services to improve them (for instance, we may decide to

change the look and feel or even substantially modify a given feature based on how

members react to it).

To prevent, detect and fight fraud and other illegal or unauthorised activities and to ensure

legal compliance.

5.How we share information

To enable those significant connections, the primary exchange of information is between

members of course. When you willingly provide information on the service (including your

public profile), you share it with other members. Please be cautious with your details and

only post things that you are okay with being seen.

We also share some sorts of member information with service providers and others that

help us run the services. We use vendors to help us operate such as data hosting and

maintenance, payment processing and security operations.

We may disclose your information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to do so: (i) to

comply with a legal process, such as a court order, summons or search warrant,

government / law enforcement investigation, or other legal requirements; (ii) to assist in

the prevention or detection of crime (subject to applicable law in each case); or (iii) to

protect the safety of any person.

6. How long we retain your information

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business

purposes and as permitted by applicable law. If you decide to stop using our services, you

can close your account and your profile will stop being visible to other members. Note that

we will close your account automatically if you are inactive for a period of two years. After

your account is closed, we will delete your personal information.

7. No children allowed

Our services are restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not

permit individuals under the age of 18 on our platform. If you suspect that a member is

under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available on the service.

8. Privacy Policy Changes

This policy may change over time as we seek innovative ways to assist you in making

significant connections and try to keep explanations about our data practices up to date.
